VS Regional Product Manager

• Defines the market growth opportunities and the impact on the roadmap (products, services …) to answer the needs for business growth, considering:

- Time to market

-Technical feasibility

- Economic targets 

• Updates regularly these data in order to provide relevant information to Management in order to define the strategy

• ensures the efficiency of the market analysis and proposed innovation roadmap of the product family in charge by monitoring the order intake generated after R&I project results (assess market answer compared to initial evaluation of market and growth opportunities )

• shares his Domain SPP inside the ROs and PL

• Co-validate adherence of PAA objectives with MTP1 objectives set in SDB (based on CDP inputs).

• Review regularly profitability objectives of PAA of its product family.

Leads the definition of the Innovation roadmap relative to products/function perimeter

• Defines and ranks (prioritization) the needs in terms of innovation projects, based on criteria assessment, in order to provide a ranked list of R&I Projects proposals that will be reviewed in the R&I Project Portfolio Committee. 

• Defines the objectives (Requirements, Target Cost, Timing) of the proposed R&I projects, and establish with the R&D Innovation Director the evaluation of the related required resources and budgets (support to the portfolio decision)

• Align with the Platform Director the roadmap, based on the cross review between domains and platforms (cf products, components …). Then,  prepare datas for PMC to decide investments and R&I activities. In this respect, contribute to define the “target platform” for the R&I Project proposals (which will serve as “internal customer” to the R&I project)

• Support the management in the decision process during the R&I Projects Portfolio Committee, with updated customer voice, business plan, PAA, Make or Buy and partnership strategy when needed

Ensures R&I Projects alignment with defined objectives before transfer to R&D (Platform/PL/ROs) :

• To be part of R&I Project Management Committees, especially setting up the quantified objectives of the product key drivers (stakeholder needs, target cost, timing) at Project Kick-off  and during the project life with adequate justification from the market.x

Promotes and support ROs and PLs in front of Customers regarding his perimeter

• Ensures the right customer match pairing is existing and is efficient (care) between Valeo and the customer at purchasing and engineering

• Guarantees accurate and adequate Customer presentation prepared with Marketing & R&I

• Participates and validate global customer satisfaction rating on his Domain perimeter (Rating to be determined or to be re-used from exterior applications)

Support of P1 Teams, during RFQ steps and during development when collaboration is required 

Promote Valeo Values, Culture and Standards (Product, Methodology, Tools) within the Project Team he/she is in charge and control their application
