Position Summary...

This role oversees the development of associate partners and tools to enhance operational excellence, serving as the primary point of contact for all Walmart field operations. This role entails prioritizing transformative and acceleration initiatives, collaborating with various departments like finance, human resources, and supply chain to drive operational KPIs and results. The Vice President must be adaptable to protect core businesses while advancing internal team initiatives and implementing transformational efforts. Works closely with Field SVPs and BU Presidents to optimize constructive collaboration between Strategy, Support, and Store Fulfillment, and field activities, ultimately supporting the EVP of Stores in making Walmart US the best place to work and shop. Additionally, this position plays a crucial role in enhancing productivity and ensuring a calm demeanor in high-stress situations to maintain professionalism and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

What you'll do...

Key Priorities
Develops and innovates Walmart Strategy Support and multichannel strategy to ensure competitive advantage and differentiation by assessing current systems, processes, and capabilities; analyzing gaps between current and future states of the business; understanding industry trends; leveraging industry for best practices; assessing Walmart's systems for opportunities to improve business; and developing strategies to close gaps and position Walmart US to capitalize on future shopper needs.

Develops an overall business strategy for Strategy Support and Store Fulfillment that develops and leverages relationships with key organizational stakeholders, and initiates and leads Company change efforts to support Corporate long-term goals and objectives, and maximize the achievement of sales, market share, associate retention, and Walmart US market growth targets.
Insights
: Partner with key teams to develop new and leverage existing analytics to analyze operations, with specific focus on using insights to guide strategies impacting KPIs such as UPLH, NPS, Operational excellence, Cost disciplines, employee turnover, and Growing Profit at a faster rate than Sales.

Defines and articulates a clear multichannel vision for the business and translates vision into strategy by making decisions on tools and approaches to meet future needs; assessing the organization's readiness; developing business case for senior company leaders to support strategies and initiatives; and working with cross-functional leaders to gain alignment with the business.

Defines and analyzes Customers' needs and expectations and implements and evaluates strategic initiatives to ensure that Walmart and Customer goals are aligned and met; enforces Customer service standards; and promotes Customer awareness of Company products and services.

Develops and champions transformational and innovative change by determining priorities and resources needs; facilitating testing and learning initiatives; providing return on investment (ROI) justifications for proposals; forecasting incremental sales and profit; investing in multichannel platforms and processes to grow market share; adjusting strategies to meet financial objectives; and providing feedback to senior leaders on change initiatives.

Partners with cross-functional business leaders (for example, Merchandising Transformation, End to End WEF, Walmart US Field Operations) to ensure successful launch of Walmart US's multichannel programs and initiatives by developing clear and concise communications for all relevant stakeholders; communicating and providing status updates through the entire implementation process; resolving issues; and developing and proposing contingency plans to ensure initiatives are implemented on time.

Initiates, builds, and leverages networks and business plans that align with Company interests, promote Walmart's image, enhance community relations, and achieve advantages that assist the Company's functioning and strategic positioning.

Provides direction on short- and long-range strategic planning and analysis by reviewing business strategies and market trends; developing strategies with business partners to achieve corporate objectives; and reviewing and providing direction on three-year and five-year business plans, annual business plans, and identifying risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.

Ensures talent is appropriately identified by selecting and maintaining qualified direct reports; providing substantive input on associate talent throughout the organization; and maintaining recruitment and retention efforts aligned with US People goals and objectives. Fosters a high-performance culture environment through ongoing feedback to direct reports and real-time performance management.

The annual salary range for this position is $300,000.00 - $525,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
