Vice President of Finance

Crunchtime is looking for a senior leader who can manage the financial actions of the Company. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who has a strong background in the SaaS industry and is ready to take on a broad set of responsibilities. You'll be the go to person for the Chief Financial Officer and regularly interact with the leadership team, driving financial strategy, and managing complex operations. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Lead financial strategy, including long-range planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital management to support the company's aggressive growth targets.
  • Operational & Team Leadership: Manage a diverse and crucial portfolio that includes Finance (Accounting, Tax, AR, AP, Billing, Finance Systems).
  • Customer & Vendor Management: Manage key vendor relationships owned by the Finance department. Interact with customers when required to help assist in billing, collections and any other financial considerations.
  • Risk & Compliance: Implement robust risk management practices and ensure compliance with all corporate financial laws and internal policies.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide insightful, timely, and accurate financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders, using data to inform strategic decision-making.

Required Skills and Abilities: 

  • Extensive Experience: Proven experience (5+ years) in a senior financial leadership role (e.g., VP of Finance, Director of Finance, or CFO) within a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company with at least 200 employees.
  • Broad Domain Knowledge: Deep expertise in corporate financial law, risk management, international operations and financial modeling. A strong understanding of IT, security, and data operations is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of financial management software, GAAP & tax compliance and data analysis tools.
  • Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior financial leadership
  • Minimum 3 years people leadership

Essential Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Prolonged periods of typing and working at a computer
  • Ability to listen and speak over the phone or Zoom calls
  • High level of mental concentration and focus

Compensation:

The annual base compensation range for this position is $200,000-215,000 $. The reasonably estimated total cash compensation (base + variable) range for this full-time position will be $220,000-$258,000.

Actual compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Crunchtime has a location-based compensation system, so someone doing the same job in a different city might have a different pay range.
