The Vice President of Clinical Transformation and Quality is responsible for the development and implementation of services for the infusion and specialty pharmacy business lines for CarepathRx and its partners. Provides strategic direction for the provision of pharmaceutical care and services throughout the service lines. Ensure that services are provided in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations, ACHC, TJC, URAC standards, and policies of the organization. This position will lead strategic initiatives to elevate clinical performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement across all care delivery teams. This role drives innovation in clinical practices, aligns operational goals with quality standards, and empowers interdisciplinary teams to achieve excellence in patient outcomes and organizational effectiveness while driving budgeted economics goals. Works closely with strategic growth leadership to position company as leader in clinical innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of clinical transformation initiatives to improve care delivery models and patient outcomes
Identify and implement innovative practices that enhance clinical efficiency, safety, and effectiveness
Oversee organization-wide quality improvement programs, including metrics tracking, benchmarking, and reporting.
Drive continuous improvement efforts using data analytics, evidence-based practices, and feedback loops.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to proactively manage risk and uphold clinical integrity.
Provide strategic oversight and support to clinical leaders and interdisciplinary teams
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth across departments.
Partner with growth and marketing teams to align clinical initiatives with brand positioning and market expansion strategies.
Contribute clinical insights to marketing campaigns, service line development, and external communications / research.
Serve as a key liaison between executive leadership, clinical teams, and external partners.
Represent the organization in industry forums, regulatory discussions, and community health initiatives.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that support clinical transformation and quality improvement
Promote digital health solutions, telemedicine, and data interoperability where applicable.
Evaluate best practices in the home infusion and specialty spaces to create compliance and efficiencies for CarepathRX and partner pharmacies.
Participate in policy and procedure review.
Provide ongoing oversight and provide problem resolution to strengthen the partner relations and experience.
Provides critical input into the selection, configuration, and implementation of pharmacy information systems to support pharmacy operations, including workflow, safe prescribing practices, regulatory compliance, inventory control, and financial reporting for pharmacy services.
Guides, directs, and counsels the management team
Identifies, develops, and participates in the process improvement opportunities within the business unit that enhance the quality of the services we provide
Provides oversight to ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory requirements including but not limited to ACHC, TJC and URAC standards.
Participate in the education of Pharm.D. students, PGY1 residents, and other pharmacy staff by serving as preceptor and role model as defined by the guidelines and requirements of the Department of Pharmacy
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities
Ability to lead clinical transformation initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Deep understanding of healthcare delivery systems, clinical workflows, and patient care standards
Strong understanding of compliance standards.
Familiarity with EHR systems, digital health tools, and clinical analytics
Ability to work closely with marketing, growth, finance, and clinical teams

Proficient in Microsoft office suite

Requirements
B.S./PharmD degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
Master of Health Administration preferred
10 years of pharmacy experience
3 years of specialty or home infusion experience preferred
3-5 years of management experience preferred
Compliance certification or residency training
Proven track record of leading clinical transformation initiatives and managing interdisciplinary teams
Experience working in complex healthcare environments (health system or integrated care networks)
