Position Summary

As the Vice President of Carrier Relations for Fully Underwritten (FUW), you will lead the strategic development and management of carrier partnerships specific to fully underwritten life products. Leveraging deep industry expertise, you will drive product innovation, negotiate production commitments, and optimize compensation structures to enhance Integrity’s FUW offerings. This role requires a strong command of the life insurance landscape, particularly in fully underwritten solutions, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams including marketing, IT, and sales. You will also play a key role in transitioning business units into Integrity’s IMO platform and ensuring operational excellence through best practices and budget stewardship.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for fully underwritten life insurance carriers, ensuring alignment with Integrity’s strategic goals.
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure new carrier partnerships to expand FUW product offerings and enhance competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with carriers on product development initiatives, ensuring market relevance, compliance, and profitability.
  • Lead negotiations on production targets, compensation models, and debt management strategies.
  • Partner with marketing to design and execute carrier-specific campaigns, including incentive programs, product launches, and exclusive pilots.
  • Develop and maintain a centralized database of FUW carrier information, including performance metrics and competitive intelligence.
  • Guide business unit transitions to Integrity’s IMO structure, ensuring seamless integration and adoption of FUW product strategies.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of sales enablement tools and the IMO website in collaboration with IT and marketing.
  • Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on fully underwritten life insurance within the organization.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the life insurance industry, with a strong emphasis on fully underwritten products.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing strategic carrier relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of life insurance underwriting, product design, and distribution models.
  • Proven experience in change management and organizational integration.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a collaborative leadership style.
  • Experience working directly for or with a top-rated life insurance carrier is highly preferred.
