EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
Master's: MBA, MHA, MPH, MSN or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
18 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrates clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable standards and regulations.
Understanding of clinical operations and workflows, and how operational process/workflow impacts other department operations.
Working knowledge and thorough understanding of health care laws, licensing and accreditation requirements, and clinical standards of practice with the ability to interpret and implement applicable requirements to ensure operational compliance.
Knowledge of emerging treads and regulatory changes, and how it impacts operations.
Business acumen, demonstrating ability to establish goals and standards to meet long and short- term objectives and make sound business decisions.
Demonstrates credible leadership presence with the ability to respond to questions with logic, clarity, calmness and authority; and the ability to engage others.
Demonstrates familiarity with various methods of care delivery and quality improvement concepts.
Demonstrated progressive management ability in providing administrative direction to innovative programs within the healthcare field. Written and verbal communication skills, as well as effective human resource skills are essential.
Demonstration of effective management skills, knowledge of hospital administration and agency compliance in patient care delivery systems.
The primary office location of this position will be in Sutter Health’s Northern California footprint and requires travel throughout the system.

Pay Range is $142.22 to $227.55 / hourThe salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
