VCA Webb Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team!

About Us

We are a five doctor canine and feline practice in Rincon, GA, offering a variety of services including primary care, dentistry, surgery and more. We provide compassionate, quality care for our patients and clients, serving the communities of Rincon, Guyton, Springfield, and surrounding areas. We are about 40 minutes from Savannah, GA and an hour drive from Hilton Head Island, SC.

We are open Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am - 6pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm, closed Sunday.

About the Role

As Veterinary Assistant, you will help create and maintain a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our patients and clients. Duties will include:

  • Compassionate patient care
  • Client education and care
  • Venipuncture and catheter placement
  • Radiology and diagnostics
  • Lab sample collection and processing
  • Surgical preparation and assisting
  • Anesthesia monitoring
  • Dentistry
  • Medication preparation and administration
  • Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
  • Medical recordkeeping
