As a Strategic Financial Crime Advisor reporting to the Senior Director of International Enterprise Sales you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that the company's offerings are aligned with current regulatory standards and effectively address the evolving challenges in the financial services industry.
This individual should understand the challenges the UK/European banking sectors face, demonstrate that Verafin is the best fraud solution to solve those problems, and support clients through both sales and post-sale processes. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the fraud landscape in the LATAM region, capable of engaging in commercial discussions, and able to represent Verafin at sales meetings, industry events, and more.

Key Responsibilities
Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted SME on industry standards, regulations, and trends; maintain deep knowledge of financial regulatory software and articulate our unique value proposition.
Strategic Advisory: Provide expert guidance on financial crime strategy and advise on product enhancements to address industry pain points.
Client Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering best practices and tailored recommendations for effective compliance frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales and internal teams (Product, Development, Customer Success) to deliver presentations, demos, and innovative ideas.
Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry events, lead user groups/roundtables, and champion knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Product Demonstrations & Sales Support: Showcase application features, clearly communicate value, and collaborate with Sales to tailor solutions to client needs.
Required Qualifications
Industry Expertise: Proven experience in banking, compliance, and fraud prevention.
Customer Engagement: Strong ability to uncover client challenges and build trusted relationships.
Technical Communication: Skilled at discussing technical issues and solutions with diverse audiences.
Executive Presence: Ability to interface confidently with all organizational levels, including C-suite.
Core Professional Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Adaptability: Comfortable responding to changing business and industry priorities.
Multilingual Fluency: Proficiency in additional languages as required: Spanish & Portuguese.
