About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead to join our Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting team, specifically supporting our dynamic Digital area. This role is critical in driving data-driven decision-making, optimizing digital strategies, and enhancing customer experiences across our digital channels. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for the design, development, and delivery of insightful digital analytics and reporting solutions, providing strategic guidance to stakeholders and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in reporting excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reporting analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Manage workload allocation, performance reviews, and career development for team members.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all digital reporting deliverables.
Digital Analytics & Reporting Strategy:
- Define and implement the digital analytics and reporting strategy aligned with the bank's digital objectives.
- Collaborate with digital product owners, marketing, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to digital channel performance, user experience, and business outcomes.
Report Design & Development:
- Oversee the end-to-end process of designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using various reporting tools (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, SAS, Pyspark, Tableau).
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all digital reporting assets.
- Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct deep-dive analysis into digital customer behavior, journey mapping, campaign performance, and product usage.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations for senior management and business teams.
- Proactively identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within digital performance data.
Stakeholder Communication & Partnership:
- Present reporting insights and recommendations to various stakeholders, including executive leadership, in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner.
- Act as a subject matter expert for digital analytics, advising on best practices, data governance, and tool utilization.
- Build strong relationships with IT, data engineering, and other support teams to ensure data availability and quality.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in digital analytics, reporting, and banking.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing reporting processes, tools, and methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or MIS reporting, with at least 3 years focused specifically on digital analytics within the financial services industry.
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
- Proven expertise with digital analytics platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360).
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and tagging implementation (e.g., Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager).
- Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and experimentation frameworks.
- Proficient in SAS, Pyspark and SQL skills for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
