Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Unit Secretary/Radiology Aide

 

As a Unit Secretary/Radiology Aide at MercyOne, you will combine clerical support with patient assistance in the Radiology Department. Responsibilities typically include:

Clerical Duties:

  • Serve as receptionist for the Radiology unit.

  • Schedule diagnostic imaging tests and maintain patient records.

  • Transcribe physician orders and enter data into hospital systems.

  • Answer phones and communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.

Patient Support:

  • Transport patients, equipment, and supplies to and from the department.

  • Assist patients with positioning, dressing/undressing, and basic comfort needs under technologist supervision.

  • Ensure patient safety during transfers and procedures.

Schedule: 

  • Full Time

  • 36 hours/week

  • Day shifts

General Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred..
