Core Duties/Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to define top tasks and pain points. 
  • Design interaction flows for search, chat, and feedback mechanisms within Copilot Studio constraints. 
  • Develop a scalable design system (components, tokens) aligned with EQ brand guidelines. 
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes for leadership demos and stakeholder reviews. 
  • Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) and embed privacy/consent patterns in UI. 
  • Collaborate with engineering to implement designs and maintain quality through development. 
  • Define analytics event taxonomy and partner on instrumentation for UX metrics. 
  • Iterate designs based on data insights and feedback from pilot and production phases. 

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviors:

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design for enterprise or complex digital products. Strong portfolio demonstrating interaction design, visual design, and design systems. 
  • Proficiency in Figma or equivalent tools; familiarity with Microsoft design patterns. 
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles. 
  • Ability to translate research insights into actionable design solutions. 
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams. 
  • Experience with conversational UI and AI-powered interfaces. 
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Contentsquare) and A/B testing frameworks. 
  • Understanding of Azure AI Search and Copilot Studio constraints 
  • Degree in Design, HCI, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). 
  • Accessibility certification (desirable). 

Compensation:

  • $35.37 -$37.50
