Treasury Manager
Job Description Summary
The Global Treasury Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day operations of Cushman and Wakefield's treasury operations including cash forecasting and liquidity management, execution of intercompany loan portfolio transactions, foreign currency trade execution, foreign currency exposure management, Letters of Credit issuance and management of bank accounts and banking relationships in the Americas. This position is currently on a hybrid schedule in our downtown Chicago office.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Owns the entire suite of Treasury operations and associated cash management for the Americas region. Must effectively collaborate across functional areas (including but not limited to Accounting, Tax, FP&A, M&A) to accomplish duties
- Produces entity level cash forecasting and timely liquidity provisioning to ensure on-going commercial operations while minimizing working capital and tax obligations
- Acts as the global administration / subject matter expert of the intercompany loan portfolio to ensure all loan transactions are executed and recorded timely. Ensures all loan documentation is current and optimized for tax considerations and accounting compliance
- Is a key contributor to forecasting and managing foreign currency exposure for C&W's global operations including foreign currency cash balances, intercompany loan balances, net monthly netting transactions and other non-functional balance sheet exposure. Actively manages FX exposure through a portfolio of primarily short-dated derivatives including trade ticket entry, trade execution and settlement using FXall
- Maintains banking relationships and ensures all bank account documentation, including KYC, is provided to banks. Seeks opportunities to reduce bank account footprint and optimize banking fees
- Responsible for maintenance (additions, deletions, and updates) of bank accounts, intercompany loan portfolio, FX trades, bank guarantees, LCs, and other areas as necessary in the TMS
- Owns the process for issuance of international bank guarantees and letters of credit
- Collaborates to determine optimal funding and legal entity structures for M&A transactions and corporate restructuring; owns execution of Treasury steps to accomplish desired outcomes
- Actively participates and owns steps in fiscal close and the control environment including, but not limited to, derivative mark to market and intercompany loan portfolio reporting and reconciliation. Actively collaborates with other departments to accomplish fiscal close and performs additional duties as needed
- Maintains existing TMS and related processes while actively challenging the status quo, seeking, and supporting opportunities to automate additional manual processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or a related field required
- 5+ years of financial experience, including three or more in a Treasury function
- MBA and/or CTP is preferred but not required
- Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
- Experience, including implementation, with a TMS system. Reval experience is preferred
- Multiple banking platforms/portals
- Electronic derivative trading preferably with Refinitiv FXall
- Familiarity with multi-lateral netting process
- Prior usage of a global ERP, preferably Workday
- Must have a strong commitment to excellence, be a team player and enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and leading through influence
- Excellent communication skills across diverse teams and international cultures

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $ 102,000.00 - $120,000.00
