Position Summary

Are you looking for an exciting career in aviation finance? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales & Transaction Manager to join the Rolls-Royce & Partners Finance (RRPF) team in London.  RRPF is the world’s largest jet engine lessor of Rolls-Royce jet engines and has a large portfolio of jet engines manufactured by other leading engine manufactures like Pratt & Whitney and CFM.  Our vision is to be the best partner to our customers growth journey. 

RRPF provides medium- and long-term spare engine leasing and bespoke financial solutions to airlines, aircraft lessors and OEMs and support over 75 customers worldwide with a portfolio of over 900 jet engines. This role sits within the Sales and Transaction team; a fast-paced team responsible for spare jet engine leasing, sale and lease backs and sales revenue.

To be successful in this role you will need to be driven, commercial acumen in the aviation industry, an eye for detail, be capable of working with a global and diverse mix of external customers and internal partners and proven programme management experience.

What you will be doing:

  • Customer relationship and account management is in our DNA, you will work with the sales team supporting customers worldwide with day-to-day account management.
  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring engines are delivered to customers on time and without issues.  You will work with legal, technical, sales and other functions to deliver this.
  • Support the sales and marketing team to ensure engines are ready for sale/lease by having an in depth understanding of timelines and priorities and coordinating with technical and logistics team.
  • Provide management and marketing team with data to assist commercial decisions regarding the future course of life for the asset.
  • Ensure new additions and redelivery of engines into the engine portfolio are correctly brought into the fleet in line with process and procedures.
  • Capture shipping/export paperwork/customs invoices/inco terms with assistance from logistics.
  • Provide Legal and senior management team with sign off and assurance from a delivery perspective.
  • Redefining and managing engines through the lease-end process in a timely manner, coordinating with all teams to solve any issues that may arise (missing parts or records, billing, logistics etc), ensuring all re-delivery costs are captured and recharged where applicable.
  • Managing and resolving any disputes that may arise regarding suppliers, delivery, storage, damage, or customers.
  • Responsible for addressing inaccuracies and failings by the business in respect of delivery and redelivery process and implementing process improvements to prevent a re-occurrence.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Relevant working experience in aviation with strong commercial acumen and project management skills.
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating technical provisions of engine lease or purchase agreements.
  • Eloquent communication skills, diplomatic skills when dealing with customers.
  • Affinity with process development and standardisation
