About the role
This position is responsible for coordination and delivery of operational and accredited training primarily to the guarding workforce but also to client stakeholders and third parties.
Reporting within the People & Culture Team but embedded within the growing Defence portfolio, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, proactive learning strategy and responsive learning interventions.
This role is ideally based within the QLD state offices with a willingness to travel on a regular basis.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Consultation with operational leaders to determine learning priorities
Delivery of Cert II, III and IV training across guarding and leadership disciplines
Development and maintenance of a national training calendar including partnerships with local RTOs
Development of custom, client / site specific training tools and resources for delivery by operational staff
Capacity to coach and develop others in the application of adult learning concepts
Management of multiple online learning systems
Support of scholarship and other training programs
Skills & experience
The following skills, experience, qualifications and aptitude will be well regarded:
Minimum 3 years in a similar role
Minimum Cert IV in Training and Assessment
Knowledge of security, defence or similar industries
Strong administrative skills to develop learning materials that are professional in presentation, appeal to the learner and easy to use
Experience developing competency frameworks
Capacity to produce visually appealing, easy to interpret reporting.
