The Training Manager for Channel and Specialty Data Services is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to clients, ensuring they are proficient in using the web portal and understand the data involved. This role provides on-going professional development and support to a variety of clients, including both pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:
Training Development & Delivery:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive training program that covers all aspects for the  Channel and Specialty data web portal and the pharmaceutical data types involved.
  • Author and update all end user materials, presentations, guides, video tutorials, and online resources, to reflect best practices and portal enhancements.
  • Deliver training sessions to clients, ensuring they understand how to use the web portal effectively and efficiently.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, available to consult with colleagues and clients to address client needs and concerns.

Platform Proficiency:

  • Provide in-depth training on the webportal, including its features, functionalities, and best practices for usage.
  • Train clients on how to navigate the portal, and to utilize the tools available to them to generate customized reports with their data.
  • Ensure clients are comfortable with the platform and can troubleshoot common data issues independently.

Data Expertise:

  • Educate clients on the various data types and their significance, ensuring they understand how to generate any reports necessary to ensure they are successful in their roles.
  • Train clients on how to interpret and utilize the data to make informed decisions to optimize their operations.

Client Support & Follow-Up:

  • Offer ongoing support to clients post-training, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Conduct follow-up sessions to reinforce training and ensure clients are continuously improving their proficiency with the portal.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve training programs and materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Information Systems, Education, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in client training and support, preferably within pharmaceutical data or healthcare.
  • Strong understanding of specialty pharmaceutical data and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards (preferred). 
  • Excellent communication, instructional design, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms and client-facing roles.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365, Rise, Articulate, Camtasia and other authoring tools to design and develop interactive training materials, scripts, training guides, job aids, infographics, videos, etc.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $69,600.00 - $173,900.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
