We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer to join our Training Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting job aids; collaborating with supervisors and team leads to preparing for and developing training; conducting one-on-one and/or small group training on document management and processing; and collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to update and validate training. You will focus on departmental customer relationships with supervisors and help identify new employee training needs.
Core Function
- Conducts training in one of the following areas: DMC. Release and Title Maintenance.
 - Train new, current and training team employees in one of the three title processing actions and updates.
 - Serve as back-up trainer for fellow team members as needed.
 
Learning Transfer
- Translate steps in title process actions to develop a one-week teaching plan with learning objectives, clear milestone steps, check-in and knowledge questions, and employee progress notes.
 - Accurately applies the Kirkpatrick model of learning assessment to document
 - employee level of learning transfer.
 - Documents cognitive, attitude and behavior barriers to learning.
 - Demonstrate tasks accurately, patiently and clearly.
 - Conducts facilitated discussions using trainer-learner observation feedback
 - model.
 - Asks learner self-reflective and self-assessment questions about their level of
 - comprehension, task mastery, and comfort with independently executing
 - assignments.
 - Alters training approach to produce measurable and consistent learning transfer supported by evaluation and quality control data.
 
Job and Learning Aid Development 
- Utilizes a job aid template to document technical business processes at a granular step-by-step level to produce instructional job aids.
 - Drafts and organizes information in sequential step.
 - Demonstrates proficiency in solid sentence structure, clarity, diction and conciseness.
 - Incorporates and aligns screenshots to respective instructions.
 - Follows guidance on updating and editing job aids to ensure learning transfer.
 
Customer Relations
- Initiates weekly collaborative check-ins with department supervisors and identify new employee training needs.
 - Delivers training resource requests in a timely manner.
 - Receives and incorporate feedback into departmental job aids.
 
Learning Repository/Learning Resource Quality Control
- Contributes to the updates of learning resource repository and document quality control.
 - Identifies learning materials for repository submission.
 - Identifies areas for curricula updates; makes updates for review.
 - Assist with Organizational and Administrative Tasks.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma.
 - Familiarity with vehicle title administration.
 - Experience in on-the-job training.
 - Experience drafting job aids.
 - Experience in maintaining internal customer relationships.
 - Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
 - Proficient in the ability to facilitate a productive and meaningful discussion within a learner-centric context to produce employee learning transfer supported by evaluation and quality control data.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical writing in instructional job aids and training resources.
 - Knowledge of adult learning techniques and learning theory.
 - Office management.
 - Document repository management.
 - Cross-functional team coordination.
 
Work Environment
Office Setting: Primarily based in an office environment with some travel between office locations
