Meaningful Work From Day One:
Play a key role in the Trade Marketing area by co-leading the development and monitoring of annual trade plans for Jack Daniel´s Family of Brands. The role will work across the portfolio and will be responsible for planning and executing the Jack Daniel's brand plans for the On-Premise channel. This professional must work closely with Marketing teams, Sales teams, and distributor partners and agencies to ensure excellence in execution. Must be organized and disciplined to support budget control, payments, and internal processes. Collaborate with all areas of Brown-Forman to ensure delivery of materials, notes, and contracts on time and in full.
What You Can Expect:
Leadership:
Co-led the development of the Trade Marketing plan for all Jack Daniel's Family of Brands, following Brown-Forman Ways of Brand Building, focused on the On-Premise channel.
Ownership of On-Premise Trade Budget for Jack Daniel’s Family of Brands (approx. USD 1M).
Monitor brand performance across all channels with the sales team.
Support the team in understanding consumer trends across different segments within the on-premise channel and how these insights can be applied across the portfolio to drive growth.
Co-Lead key brand activation platforms @ the On Premise.
Lead the planning and implementation of key promotional periods, providing the sales team with all needed tools for execution.
Lead the development of POS material in collaboration with sales managers and the brand team.
Support Trade Management:
Translate key Brand Strategy and Initiatives into field sales priorities and customer/ channel plans.
Identify key customer opportunities to build brand awareness through brand advocacy and drive product penetration through trial.
Build strong working relationships with the On-Premise Manager and Representatives, advocacy partner, and promotional agencies.
Collaborate with all levels of field sales staff to ensure that marketing plans and tactics are tailored to support field-based brand-building activities.
Attend Marketing and sales meetings where necessary to ensure key actions are followed up promptly.
Develop guides and support materials for the perfect execution of brands at points of sale.
Responsible for evaluating tailor-made opportunities and also connecting them to brand strategies.
Monitor competitors' activities to ensure Brown-Forman maintains a prominent presence and a competitive advantage in the market.
Lead with the purchasing area, focusing on the production of materials necessary for commercial action, such as branded educational materials and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
Responsible for material logistics. Control of sending, receiving, and implementation by the teams.
Commercial and Sales:
Collaborate and support the sales team, providing all necessary tools to guarantee all activities/programs are implemented successfully within all on-premise segments.
Be close with our sales team, fostering an environment that constantly exchanges information to engage our Sales Executives and ensure flawless execution in the field.
Relentlessly look for new opportunities to increase Jack Daniel's Family of Brands' physical availability by brainstorming new ideas and testing them in the field.
Financial and Planning:
Be responsible for controlling the Trade budget by providing all necessary information monthly and being accountable for ensuring that all investments are made as planned.
Actively control the payment/invoice flow in partnership with the finance team.
Identify, control, and inform the Finance team of all accruals monthly.
Control the flow of payments for invoices related to the activities of the brands, as well as inputting notes into the system, and ensure timely payment in the relevant month.
Organizational Activities:
Provide timesheet data on time daily.
Complete all trainings provided by Brown-Forman on time
Off-Premise and On-Premise visits monthly with and without the Sales Team, looking to get insights from the field.
What You Bring to the Table:
Bachelor's Degree (Advertising, Marketing, Business, Economics, or Engineering).
Previous experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing (Minimum of 3 years).
Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Advanced English (must be comfortable writing and speaking).
Data-oriented, Analytical, hands-on, organized, curious, like to execute plans, and a true team player.
Excellent communication skills (oral & written).
Curious for shopper insights / Deep knowledge of the three channels (On, Off Direct, and Off Indirect).
Strategic planning ability focused on brand building.
Influence, partnership, and collaborative skills.
Financial and Budget Management.
Project management.
Time management.
What Makes You Unique:
Previous experience in the FMCG industry.
Familiarity with all Nielsen and Neogrid tools.
