We are looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist for Tlalnepantla, Estado de México.
What will you do?
Coordinate import processes from origin to final destination.
Manage customs documentation and advance payments for expenses and taxes.
Monitor the status of international shipments.
Coordinate Customs Brokers, freight agents, Forwarders, and national transportation.
Manage conferred mandates related to customs operations.
Control logistics costs and identify efficiencies in transportation and storage.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Maintain and organize Foreign Trade documentation files.
How will you do it?
Collaborate with internal teams including sales, costing, accounts payable, purchasing, and warehouse to support logistics planning.
Use and maintain logistics databases, reports, and KPIs to monitor performance and support decision-making.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum 80% proficiency in spoken and written English.
Strong expertise in customs clearance for maritime, air, and land imports/exports.
Solid understanding of Incoterms 2020.
Experience in reviewing and analyzing customs declarations.
Familiarity with Mexican Official Standards (NOMs).
In-depth knowledge of:
Mexican Customs Law and its regulations.
General rules and non-tariff regulations. (RRNA)
Customs regimes.
