Position Summary
The Tool Hookup Senior Project Manager – Team Representative (TR) at SAS oversees multidisciplinary projects in construction, mechanical, electrical, and related areas. Combining senior level expertise with frontline people management, the TR aligns departmental goals with project objectives, coordinates daily and long‑term activities to surpass KPIs, and continually improves processes and products across the facility. The role demands high flexibility, often requiring overtime and weekend work, and prioritizes reliable attendance, punctuality, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines and cross‑departmental requirements.Role and Responsibilities
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
Own large, cross‑department projects with many undefined components and interdependencies.
Draft factory‑wide/enterprise‑wide scopes and detailed project plans.
Lead and coordinate improvement projects spanning multiple functions.
Participate in Task Force Teams (TFT) to tackle high‑impact initiatives.
Explore and implement measures to reduce the cost of maintenance or improvement projects.
Deliver concise, data‑driven presentations to senior and executive leadership outside the department.
Coach and mentor junior project managers, sharing best‑practice PM techniques.
Adhere to departmental guidelines for regular attendance, punctuality, and reliable performance.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
5+ years in industrial or commercial project management, with demonstrable experience in semiconductor FAB or general clean room settings.
PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred, or equivalent project management accreditation
TDLR Electrical, TDLR HVAC, or TSBPE Plumbing licenses are advantageous but not required.
Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
Working familiarity with OSHA, NFPA, ASME, ANSI, and other relevant industrial facility codes and standards.
Proven ability to manage and lead multidisciplinary projects, encompassing design, specification, and construction phases.
Capability to read, interpret, and critique design plans, shop drawings, and equipment specifications.
Familiarity with the design and installation of facility equipment and industrial building construction.
Aptitude for data analysis and documentation using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Soft Skills and Experience:
Experience with Root Cause Analysis (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone), Criticality Analysis, and FMEA methodologies.
Past involvement in orchestrating training programs and knowledge transfer initiatives.
The current base salary range for this role is between $82,610 - $156,950. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
