SUMMARY: Sell tickets for events. Provide excellent customer service. This is a causal part-time job based on events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Process oral and written requests for tickets to various events
· View and enter ticket information to create requested ticket
· Assist customers in obtaining tickets and information
· Balance cash drawer at close of shift
· Maintain and update event maps
· Answer the telephone and provide requested event information
· Provide excellent customer service and always maintain a courteous and professional demeanor
· Exercise restraint and patience when dealing with a disruptive patron
· Other duties may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
· Must be at least 18 years old
· HS Diploma or GED required
· Six (6) months prior customer service experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Must be personable and pro-active in providing assistance to all patrons and staff
· Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others
· Must have professional presentation, appearance and work ethic
· Must be fluent in English
· Able to see and read small sized text on tickets (paper and electronic)
· Must be able to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays as well as during normal business hours
