The Payroll Specialist position at Intel is a critical role within the organization's payroll operations, responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of employee wages and benefits. This role involves managing payroll data, resolving payroll issues, and collaborating with various departments to maintain compliance with internal and external requirements. The Payroll Specialist plays a key role in process improvement initiatives, leveraging lean methodologies to enhance efficiency and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform computations and duties necessary for payroll preparation and processing.
Create and maintain employee master data and payroll reports.
Ensure accurate payment of wages and benefits.
Own payroll support and resolve payroll issues and employee inquiries.
Conduct audits of payroll records to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Provide Finance with general ledger interfaces, journal entries, and month-end reports.
Monitor and address any payroll discrepancies, ensuring defect-free operations.
Report process improvement recommendations and efficiencies to management.
Champion lean methodologies and business process management.
Ensure compliance with internal payroll policies and external government requirements.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Tax, and other disciplines on payroll change management communications.

Minimum Qualifications:
6+ months years of experience in Shared Service Center operations.
6+ months of experience or knowledge in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint
Advanced English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Be an active advanced student at a university level or must possess a university degree in business administration, finance, human resources, industrial engineering, or related field.
