Job Details:
This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow and process efficiency, product quality, and team member training.
Responsible for doing inventory on the yard, keeping cooler and loading dock clean.
Fueling trucks
Back up Jockey Driver
All other duties as assigned, by supervisor or lead.
Moving up to 70 pounds of product during duration of the shift.
Capable of operating a forklift.
Capable of visually inspecting product by the box or pallet.
Good hand/eye coordination.
Very cold environment, slippery surfaces.
Capable of working in excess of 8 hours per shift and up to 6 or 7 days per week when required.
Must be able to maneuver freely throughout the plant
Must be able to tolerate walking, standing for duration of shift
Must be able to lift 40 pounds plus
Must be able to use hands, lifting, bending, and twisting
Must be able to use knives, scissors and other hand tools.
Must have a valid Drivers License. Must be 21 years of age or older.
Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days.
Rehire Rule of no more than 3 times worked at Tyson Foods.
