The Technology Governance & Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and enhancing governance and reporting processes across technology and information security risk. This role is responsible for transforming complex technical risk data into clear, strategic insights that inform decision-making at the executive level. Key responsibilities include coordinating and tracking all governance submissions and associated actions, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs. The role also involves reviewing and refining reports to maintain consistency and clarity, and working closely with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts across Technology to ensure all relevant risk areas are accurately and comprehensively represented.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
Partner with senior stakeholders to craft strategic narratives tailored for executive and Board-level audiences.
Produce high-impact Board papers, strategic summaries, and dashboards that clearly articulate cyber risk and IT resilience priorities.
Translate regulatory updates, audit outcomes, and incident reports into clear, business-relevant content that supports informed decision-making.
Maintain clarity, consistency, and compliance across all cyber and IT communications, ensuring alignment with internal standards and external requirements.
Support storytelling and reporting for key initiatives such as cyber maturity assessments and cloud transformation programmes.
Oversee the reporting cadence for governance forums, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
Monitor and manage submissions, action updates, and follow-ups to drive accountability and track progress across governance forums.
Collaborate closely with Technology and Information Security subject matter experts to ensure risks are comprehensively and accurately represented.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
The role holder is expected to have the following qualification(s), skills and experience:
Outstanding written communication skills, with a strong track record of producing high-quality, tailored outputs for senior audiences including Board-level papers, strategic reports, and executive dashboards.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities, with the confidence to build trust and credibility across internal teams and external partners.
Advanced reporting and data visualisation expertise, including proficiency in PowerPoint for executive presentations, and experience with tools like Power BI and Tableau. Strong grasp of visual design principles to enhance clarity and impact.
Solid background in cybersecurity, IT governance, and technical risk within large corporate settings ideally in regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to translate complex technical information into clear, business-relevant insights preferably within agile working environments.
Deep understanding of key Information Security frameworks such as ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT, CIS, PCI DSS, OWASP, and NIST, along with familiarity with global and regional regulatory landscapes.
