Technical Services Engineer – AMP & Reliability
AirAsia X is seeking a passionate and skilled Technical Services Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance team!
In this role, you will ensure the highest standards of aircraft safety, fleet performance, and regulatory compliance through the effective development and management of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) and Reliability Programme. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence, fleet reliability, and continuous airworthiness for AirAsia X's Airbus fleet.
The function and responsibilities are to develop, administer, update, and monitor the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) and Reliability Programme for AirAsia X fleet.
Develop, implement, and manage the Aircraft Maintenance Programme (AMP) to ensure efficient, reliable and airworthy fleet operations.
Ensure AMP compliance with Airbus recommendations, regulatory requirements (CAAM, AD/ALS/SFAR88), and vendor specifications.
Maintain AMP coverage including systems, powerplant, APU, structural and CPCP programmes.
Update AMP in accordance with MPD, MRBR, ALS, SB, SIL, CAAM requirements and engineering publications.
Administer task cards, control documents, amendments and acknowledgement records.
Prepare Maintenance Programme Analysis Report (MPAR) and conduct annual AMP review meetings.
Perform fleet reliability analysis including PIREP/MAREP trends, defect analysis, component removal patterns, delays & cancellations.
Prepare monthly reliability performance reports and conduct Maintenance Review Board Meetings.
Support warranty claim processes, participate in OEM/vendor negotiations and pursue rejected claims.
Ensure documentation compliance and support internal audits and corrective actions.
Proactively identify areas for technical and process improvement.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Technical Services Manager.

Flexible to support ad-hoc operational requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field OR minimum 3 years relevant aviation technical experience.
Experience with Airbus aircraft (A330/A321) preferred.
Knowledge of AMP, reliability systems, and aviation regulatory frameworks (CAAM/EASA/FAA).
Familiar with technical publications such as MPD, MRBR, ALS, AD/SB, CMM & other OEM manuals.
Strong analytical and technical report-writing skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Willing to support flexible hours due to operational needs.
