About the Role:

We are looking for an organized and detail oriented Technical Content Ops Associate to join our team. In this role, you’ll embed deeply into Tubi’s Content Operations functions, collaborating within the content technical operations team and with cross-functional partners in engineering, product, partnerships, content experience and content metadata to ensure a unified approach to how metadata and content is ingested and managed in our asset management system.

You will be the subject matter expert and point of contact for various aspects of the content ingestion pipeline and resolve technical video and system errors. 

This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York office. You must be willing to travel to our San Francisco, Los Angeles, or New York office 3 days/week. 

What You'll Do:

  • Support large-scale content and asset (video, images, subtitles) ingestion, monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving video transcoding errors and other ingestion pipeline issues; escalating and coordinate with Engineering and Partnership teams as needed
  • Provide technical and IT admin support for editorial workflows, including Virtual Edit Bays (VEBs), AWS S3 storage/restoration, encryption/authentication issues, and other third party applications. 
  • Develop, maintain, and document internal tools, scripts, and tracking systems to streamline workflows, reduce duplication, and improve operational efficiency. 
  • Facilitate and manage vendor relationships, inclusive of describing operations workflows, technical requirements, and exploring systems integrations 
  • Create and share knowledge resources (guides, documentation, training sessions) to reduce support bottlenecks, improve team scalability, and enable knowledge transfer across Content Operations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Content Ops, Engineering, Creative, Partnerships) to improve workflows, resolve delivery inconsistencies, and advocate for internal tool enhancements (e.g., CMSUI).
  • Assist in training and supporting Content Operations Associates 
  • Support other projects and initiatives as needed

Your Background:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical operations/support role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong communication, collaboration and organizational skills as well as a natural curiosity and desire to learn 
  • Fluency with Adobe Premiere and other video editing applications
  • Expertise with content management, delivery (Aspera), file storage, and collaboration (FrameIO, screeners, etc.) systems - experience with system administration, user management, permissioning, etc.
  • Knowledge of Github, aws cli tool, sql, bash, python, ffmpeg is a plus
  • Detailed oriented with strong technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • General understanding of software development lifecycle and experience working with engineering teams a plus
  • Experience in an operations/digital supply chain role a plus
  • Passionate fan of Movies & TV

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is listed per hour below. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. 

Hourly Rate for high cost labor markets such as but not limited to Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco
$23.70$33.85 USD
