Summary
 

We are looking for an Electronics Technical Procurement Engineer who has a background in electronics and is interested in managing and dealing with suppliers. Responsibilities will include sourcing and managing suppliers of electronics products, as well as planning orders and following them through to receipt at the factory. You will work with a technical team specializing in the design and manufacture of RFID devices and will play an active role in negotiating purchasing rates and sourcing new suppliers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Read datasheets
  • Identify technical values
  • Detect improvements in datasheets and propose alternatives
  • Identify parts that don’t meet quality parameters
  • Complaining to suppliers about possible delivery mistakes
  • Planning and follow-up of orders
  • Working on a project basis from start to finish
  • Search and validation of new suppliers

Your Experience, Education, and Skills

  • Electronics background (or possibly Technical Engineering / Industrial Design)
  • Good knowledge of electronic components
  • Professional experience in similar position (Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Purchaser)
  • Advanced English (fluent speech)
  • Communicative Spanish / Catalan
  • Autonomy and responsibility
  • Good communication skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Project work
