Mission / Purpose of the Role:
The TBS Finance Solutions Delivery Center Lead is responsible for leading the Finance Operations for the Brazil LOC, delivering lean, harmonized, and best-in-class finance processes. This role acts as a business leader in-country, partnering with local and global stakeholders to drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement, supporting Takeda’s purpose: better health for people, brighter future for the world.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the TBS Brazil Finance Solution Operational Team, overseeing Internal Tax, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, General Ledger, and Accounting activities.
Serve as the local TBS Leader and business partner, acting as the single point of contact for the local Finance Director, Global Tax, Global Treasury, and other local leadership.
Collaborate with other TBS towers (e.g., Global Inventory, Fixed Assets, Invoice-to-Cash, R2R Operations Hub, Controllership/Data Analytics & Insights, Risk & Controls, Strategic and Relationship Management, and other delivery center leads), as well as local procurement, GDD&T, global & local finance, legal, and compliance teams to drive regional continuous improvement, automation, and innovation initiatives.
Ensure all processes and services comply with Takeda policies, global standards, and regional regulatory requirements. Enhance the risk and control framework, ensuring alignment with company risk, US SOX, and best practices.
Maintain an effective local escalation model.
Act as a lead change agent for global and TBS initiatives, including leading changes associated with the Brazilian Tax Reform.
Core Elements of the Role:
Proven experience in setting up and running shared services and delivering shared service strategies.
Significant experience in Finance Transformation within a global organization.
Track record of driving continuous improvement using methodologies such as LEAN or EOAR.
Demonstrated people management experience, including recruiting, developing, and retaining professional staff.
Strong background in finance & accounting, treasury, planning, analysis, budgeting, reporting, controlling, and management in a multinational environment.
Strategic change and project management experience.

Operational experience in leading shared services or country finance organizations.

Education, Competencies, and Skills:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Desirable: Master’s in Business Administration.
Professional finance qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA).
10–15+ years of experience in the industry.
Fluency in both Portuguese and English language.
