What this role is all about:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator in La Crosse, WI.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a professional-level role responsible for supporting and enhancing the company’s recruitment and hiring processes. This position works closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, source qualified candidates, and ensure a seamless hiring experience. The TA Coordinator will manage requisitions independently for designated roles, screen applicants, conduct initial interviews, and provide insight to managers on candidate selection. This role is critical in ensuring the company attracts and hires high-quality talent to meet business needs. 

Job Duties:

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Partner and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies for assigned positions.
  • Independently manage recruitment for designated entry-level and support-level roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and recommending candidates for consideration.
  • Conduct and schedule phone screens, assessing candidate qualifications and alignment with job requirements and company culture.
  • Manage open job requisitions in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including job postings, reposting, and ensuring accurate and timely updates throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates, responding to inquiries, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner in higher-level requisitions through sourcing assistance, candidate management, and interview coordination.
  • Administer the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain data accuracy, compliance, and reporting integrity.
  • Prepare offer letters, initiate background checks, and assist with offer discussions in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation communications, including sending new hire details to candidates, hiring managers, and orientation facilitators to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Provide consultative support to hiring managers on recruiting best practices, candidate evaluation, and labor market insights.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruiting events, job fairs, and community partnerships to enhance the company’s employment brand.
  • Generate and analyze recruiting metrics and reports to support data-driven decisions and continuous process improvement.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and improve the overall candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Collaborate with the HR Generalist to support the design and delivery of an engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Perform other professional HR and recruitment-related duties as assigned.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Protocol.
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.

Qualifications:

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum one (1) years of experience in Recruiting and/or Human Resources required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or related industry preferred.
