Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Systems Engineering Program Manager to lead and drive complex software programs across cross-functional teams for Commercial Notebooks products. The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering, BIOS/firmware development, and ISV collaboration, with a proven record of managing projects in a fast-paced technology environment. This role requires not only strong project/program management skills but also the ability to understand technical details, communicate effectively with engineers, and work collaboratively across engineering, product management, and partner ecosystems.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of software programs involving BIOS/firmware components, platform enablement, and software application integration.

  • Drive alignment across cross-functional engineering teams, product stakeholders, validation team, and external ISVs.

  • Serve as the key liaison between internal development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.

  • Proactively manage schedules, milestones, risk mitigation, and resource planning across multiple projects.

  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and root cause analysis with engineering teams.

  • Provide domain-specific expertise and overall software systems leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities

  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software systems design organization

  • Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Ensure quality and compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Support go-to-market and deployment readiness activities, including documentation and training coordination.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, BIOS/firmware development, or platform-level integration.

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical program or project management role.

  • Solid technical understanding of software driver, application, BIOS/UEFI, firmware development processes, or low-level software-hardware interaction.

  • Experience collaborating with ISVs to deliver optimized or integrated software solutions.

  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional efforts in a matrix environment.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira).

  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus.
