The purpose of the role is to extract commercial value from contracted and uncontracted business, maximising revenue and reducing cost.
What you will be doing
This role is profit and loss accountable and will drive better business outcomes over the full life of the programme
To achieve this you will set the strategic leadership direction, policies and roadmaps that deliver the business plan and 5YP commitments
Working closely with various stakeholders you will define, and ensure delivery of, programmes of work covering (but not limited to) product change, repair development, and commercial restructuring, to meet the financial targets
Inherent in the maximising of returns will be leading on all costs across the full life cycle, including unit cost, establishing a clear roadmap for both shop visit and product cost
In conjunction with the Services Business team you will, own, generate, analyse, validate, and approve contract review pack financial statements
For uncontracted business (T&M) you will define a clear spare parts catalogue strategy that maximises direct and Life Limiting Parts parts sales
Own the Product Attributes Document and drive the commitments therein
Act as a focal point for the customer and regional teams for new and existing business
