Your Team, Your Impact
We are seeking a Software/Firmware Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for customers across China. This role focuses on DSP software and embedded module firmware development, testing, system integration and verification. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to drive design wins, ensure smooth implementation, and deliver exceptional technical support throughout the product lifecycle.What You Can Expect
Education:
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Softwere Engineering
Master’s degree with 1–8 years of Optical module R&D experience.
Bachelor’s degree with 3–10 years of Optical module R&D experience.
Technical Skills:
Solid understanding of DSP algorithms, embedded systems, and firmware architecture.
Proficiency in C programming; familiarity with Python for automation and testing is a plus.
Hands-on experience in optical module firmware, module debug/control software design/hardware design or telecommunication, data communication etc.
Familiar with debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and software version control systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English (writen and verbal).
Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrates sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques for diverse technical challenges.

What We're Looking For
Support customers in DSP software and optical module and AEC firmware development, system bring-up, testing, debugging, and testing.
Provide pre-sales technical support, including delivering product demonstrations, technical presentations, and design proposals to achieve design wins.
Deliver post-sales assistance, including system validation, design troubleshooting, firmware updates, and customer training.
Align customer design requirements with company technologies and assist in proposal and solution development.
Identify and track new design opportunities, guiding customers through their development and integration process.
Provide onsite and remote support for real-time customer issues involving software, firmware, and hardware.
Collaborate with internal R&D, product, and marketing teams to optimize products and improve the overall customer experience.
Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and conduct sessions for customers and distributors.
