Job Description:
SAF is the bigger enabler for the decarbonisation of the civil aviation sector, and Airbus has the ambition to use more than 30% SAF for its Scope 1 reduction and the target to catalyse the SAF uplift in the ecosystem (scope 3) for 10%. China will become the 1st civil aviation market in the globe in the decade, which necessitates China’s SAF development. The jobholder is responsible for supporting the SAF China project management, acting as the focal point for SAF internal use in Tianjin, monitoring SAF use and facilitating sustainability certification, organising internal & external SAF events, and consolidating SAF-related external communication materials in China.
- China SAF project management support
Organising monthly SAF China project meetings (material/ meeting notes/ action tracker)
tracking project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables
generating regular status reports and dashboards
facilitating communication and collaboration among project members
developing capability in the application of project management processes and tools
providing administrative support to project managers
- SAF internal use in Tianjin
monitoring SAF use vs target, and collecting SAF use data from project workstream team
Mastering knowledge on mass balance, book & claim, chain of custody and other sustainability certification processes
facilitating sustainability certification exercise in Tianjin
contributing to SAF tendering process
- SAF events
Event organisation (planning, agenda building, budgeting, logistics support, risk management)
Complying with G&H & SDM process
Participating to supplier tendering process as business requester
Providing event summary and activity impact analysis
- SAF Communication & engagement
preparing sustainability communication campaign planning on a yearly basis
preparing/ translating/ consolidating external communication materials
coordinating with relevant stakeholders to promote SAF with employees and communities
arranging logistics during central colleagues to China
administrative support for SAF-related business meetings
This role will involve some travel for business (once a/month) in China and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
EDUCATION: with __Bachelor or Master_____ degree, in __environmental science or a related scientific field, chemistry, business administration, English literature with a sustainability focus____ major.
EXPERIENCE: _3-5__ year experience in __sustainability, corporate affairs, marketing, project management, or a related______ domain.
CERTIFICATION: PMP or equivalent
LANGUAGE: fluent English both in written and oral speaking
KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL SKILLS: Solid skills in Microsoft Office/ Google tools and project management, and basic knowledge in statistics, modeling, communication, and design.
