$18.50 - $27.75EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED equivalent. LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION: CPR certification must be obtained within three months of hire. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1. Adheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment by utilizing Medical Center core values, appropriate and professional communication skills, developing professional interpersonal relationships and performing duties with a teamwork approach to include timely and appropriate radio communication. 2. Cleans operating room suites during turnover. Performs daily terminal cleaning of assigned operating rooms to include completion of appropriate documentation. 3. Maintains clean hallways to ensure safe patient transport and perform general housekeeping. 4. Transports patients and equipment to the operating room when needed. Assists with the transport, cleaning and storage of equipment in the operating room equipment storage areas. 5. Ensures proper supply levels on gasses, linens, and cleaning supplies utilized within the inpatient, outpatient, and pediatric operating room suites. 6. Performs daily documentation of blanket warmer temperatures on proper temperature logs. 7. Assists with equipment inventory. 8. Maintains and cleans PPE carts by adhering to general hospital standards for the use of PPE when in contact with bloodborne and airborne pathogens.
