HOW YOU WILL MAKE HISTORY...
The Supply Planner will monitor the performance of network-wide production assets for assigned products/categories, including plants and third-party assets. The incumbent will develop, manage, and execute an inventory plan that minimizes working capital while meeting or exceeding customer service targets and minimizing write-offs. Additionally, the supply planner is responsible for building constrained production plans for a rolling 24-month horizon for Co-Manufacturers.
In addition, they will conduct root cause analysis to develop and implement corrective action plans and communicate the resolution to all stakeholders. This role works cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and Commercialization regularly to resolve issues and plan for future new item launches.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...
• Responsible for the supply plan (inventory, distribution, and production) to meet product demand and inventory targets for an assigned brand or product group for all channels of distribution in US Retail, as well as any international distribution.
• Lead Supply Planning for new item introductions, transitions, and product discontinuities.
• Balance production plans within supply capability/capacity and restraints.
• Manage inventory levels (prebuilds) based on forecasting bias, process line, shutdowns, sourcing changes, new products, new locations, product conversions, and unique customer supply management.
• Identify issues that require cross-functional resolution.
• Analyze report data to identify network continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure that the planning models are accurate and reflect the network constraints.
• Monitor and manage projected product obsolescence.
• Responsible for long-term capacity planning for contract manufacturers in collaboration with Contract Manufacturing Partners, both internal/external.
• Managers, influencing decisions related to exceptions from the plan; Escalates to the Supply Planning Manager if agreement can't be reached.
• Participate and provide input to the monthly supply review with cross-functional partners.
• Conduct what-if analysis and scenario plans to ensure the supply of new product launches and timelines.
• Track Case fill, Inventory Days of Coverage, SMOG, Alerts for his/her brands.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH...
You will work closely with teams across Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Commercialization, Demand Planning, Materials Planning, Capacity Planning, and both internal and external Contract Manufacturing Partners.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE... (MUST HAVES)
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or comparable field.
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain planning or a comparable analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration.
IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU HAVE... (PREFERRED SKILLS)
• Microsoft Office skills, including Advanced Excel skills.
• SAP experience preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between
$68,600-$98,700Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
