The Opportunity

Join our team as a Supply Chain Specialist in Ludvika, Sweden, and make a real difference in our Power Transformers business. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping strategic procurement plans to source the best materials for our tank shop, helping us drive innovation and excellence.

In this position, experience in procurement processes, supplier management, contract negotiations, cost analysis, metal fabrication, and supply chain optimization will be highly beneficial. As a speaking partner between suppliers and internal interfaces, it is essential to have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and international teams.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services
  • Manage contracts and/or RFQs for the materials needed for our tank shop
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, including negotiating contracts, resolving NCRs, and ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments such as global SCM-team, engineering, logistics, finance, and quality assurance to streamline procurement processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Conduct market research and price analyses to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their quotes.
  • Monitor supplier performance metrics, track KPIs, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving efficiency, and enhancing supply chain resilience

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken, is required.
