Supply Chain Productivity Manager

Guadalajara, Mexico Full time

Purpose Statement:  In this position you will lead the vision of supply chain solutions that enable transformative visibility and transparency of data and analytics. In this role, you will deeply understand the needs of customers, define and prioritize the customer product roadmap, and will be ultimately responsible for the adoption of these solutions with site/region support.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Formulate, model, and set optimal material QC pricing to align with overall account objectives and meet Plexus' financial goals.

  • Assist in the development of quoting strategies and opportunity plans to increase win rates and revenue growth.

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.

  • Lead strategic material cost reductions utilizing Global and Regional Sourcing, Supply Chain, and ENG Solutions, while incorporating material pricing, current market, and customer negotiated conditions.

  • Promote Plexus' Supply Chain as a solution provider for existing customers and new business opportunities.

  • Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain discipline preferred.

  • 3 to 5 years leadership experience in a materials or supply chain focused or manufacturing environment.

Other Qualifications:  

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in managerial experience focusing on standardizing planning execution, costing, and reducing sourcing complexity.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Professional office environment with suitable lighting, comfortable temperatures, and low noise level. May require prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, using a computer, and other office equipment. Minimal physical activity is generally involved, emphasizing the importance of good posture and ergonomic workplace arrangements.

Travel Requirements:  

  • Less than 40%
