Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Base Management Specialist to join our Engine Management team in Everett, WA.

The Supply Base Management Specialist will engage operators, suppliers and internal organizations.  Fleet Program Managers are operators first line in working with a sophisticated web of suppliers that provide some of the most critical components. Fleet Program Managers engage in customers top reliability, safety, cost and delivery issues for supplier components. 

This role requires a blend of strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain.

Our team is currently hiring for either a Senior (Level 4) or Lead (Level 5) Supply Base Management Specialist.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
  • Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Leads the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.
  • Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
  • Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 7+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 7+ years of experience working Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW)
  • 7+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • 7+ years of experience working with project management practices and how they can be applied
  • Domestic and international travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating exceptional business, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Office products
  • 5+ years of experience with ERP systems such as ERPLN and/or SAP
  • 12+ years of experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and the Boeing Production System
  • Pilot license or AMP certification

Summary pay range (Level 4): $129,600 -$150,500

Summary pay range (Level 5): $154,800 - $179,750
