The main purpose of this role will be to provide support to the Contract Manager and their existing Energy and Waste teams, through the effective use of resources and control of activities. The role will be based at the Diageo Runcorn Packaging Site and support an already well established team on site.

What you'll be doing:
Lead for Daily Tier 1 & 2 meetings.
Daily interaction with the Client Utilities Management team.
Manage the day to day operation and maintenance of the utilities and waste area assets.
Schedule reactive and planned maintenance activities, liaising with key contractors.
Manage/Plan the Veolia maintained assets through the Clients Written Scheme Examination, ensuring Statutory Inspection compliance.
Work with Client to manage/plan shutdown windows for any planned/reactive maintenance.
Ensure continued availability and optimal performance of plant through effective implementation of PPM, Condition Monitoring, Routine Maintenance
Work with the Waste Team Leader to ensure all waste streams are effective and fulfil Client’s Zero Waste to Landfill Policy.
Monitor Sub contractors and review supporting documentation.
Carry out monthly Team Safety Behaviour audits and document on Veolia ava system.
Support Diageo with GRMS, SFIPS, internal and external audits.
Comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental Management Control - Take ownership and Complete Monthly VMR Site Audit.
Support with the delivery of TBT, Team monthly meetings and Diageo safety alerts.
Support Veolia and Diageo teams to document RCPS on Veolia assets.
Ensuring quality standards are adhered to in line with company and clients requirements.
Support the Weekly/Monthly KPI reporting and meeting with client management.
Veolia’s lead in IPM, Water usage, Weekly H&S meeting and all meetings that require a Veolia stakeholder.
Work with the Contract Manager and wider team ensuring all contractual deliverables and KPIs are met.
Supporting Veolia Contract Manager and Engineering teams in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects.
Hands on approach during team sickness and out of hours through call out Rota as/when needed.
What we're looking for:
Formally qualified - HNC or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline
Proven record of health and safety performance, with the ability to write and follow laid down Risk assessments/method statements for specific tasks or amend as required
Ability to liaise and co-operate with sub-contractors
Experienced in the maintenance and management of Energy Centres / Plant Rooms
Able to undertake position of responsibility
An excellent communicator at all levels
IT / Computer literate (use of Google)
Full clean driving licence
