We are currently seeking a Supervisor - Registered Nurse for our Residential Programs in the Bronx! The ideal candidate will have experience in the field of Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) and will be responsible for overseeing a team of Program Nurses and all medical systems for their region.
Additionally, the nurse will participate in team meetings and provide medically related in-services and trainings to Program staff, including direct care employees and other clinical leadership.

Monday through Friday; 10am - 6pm
Key/Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Support a group home 8 with up to medically frail people with disabilities
Provide ongoing clinical supervision in collaboration with administrated supervisor to all nurses within the region.
Organize and provide clinical training in regional meetings.
Serve as a resource to the department members and agency staff by providing information as needed.
Select, orient, train, counsel, discipline and direct all nursing staff in collaboration with supervisors in the region.
Participate in regional and department committees requiring clinical skills including but not limited to; Human Rights Committee, Incident Review, Choking committee.
To provide direct assistance in providing clinical coverage as requested by the Nursing coordinator, in any other aspect of the operation of the Nursing Department.
Take leadership role in setting up new nurses' orientation schedules, training and supervision.
Organize agenda and run regional meetings.
Minimum Qualification Requirements including education, experience, licensure/certification, etc. and essential physical capabilities (e.g. lifting, assisting lifting, standing, etc.) Minimum requirements of specific positions may vary by assigned function and/or contract. Please refer to applicable regulations/contracts for all position requirements.
All RN Supervisors must meet the following minimum requirements:
Prior experience leading teams in a supervisory or managerial capacity
NYS Registered Nurse (RN) License
Full time flexible day/evening hours
In good standing for a minimum of two years or prior administrative experience
Maintain excellence in yearly evaluations
Demonstrate leadership skills
Preferred Qualification Requirements (desired requirements beyond MQRs above)
Med/Surg experience
Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population
Nursing homes, rehabs, or chronic/geriatric care experience
Compensation
$95,000 to $105,000* annually
Additional compensation in the form of an experience differential and retention bonuses
*Contingent on a combination of prior experience and educational qualifications (i.e., MSN)
