Position Overview:
The Supervisor, Project Engineering (GPM) supports the Global Product Monitoring (GPM) Complaint Investigations Lab by leading lab-specific strategic initiatives, continuous improvement (CI) projects, and cross-functional efforts to enhance operational efficiency. This role focuses on developing and implementing tools, including AI-based solutions, to optimize lab workflows and data analysis. The position serves as a key interface between the lab and CI teams, ensuring alignment, engagement, and successful execution of improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Lead or coordinate CI and strategic projects that impact lab workflows and operational performance.
Develop and implement software tools, dashboards, and process enhancements to support lab operations and complaint investigations.
Collaborate with lab staff and engineers to gather feedback, conduct pilot testing, and validate new tools or processes.
Drive AI-based tool development and integration to support data analysis, automation, and decision-making.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with CI teams and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Support strategic planning and execution of lab initiatives aligned with business and quality objectives.
Facilitate change management and communication related to new tools, processes, or systems.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes using appropriate metrics and KPIs.
Ensure all initiatives comply with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA QSR, ISO 13485).
Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the lab.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices or diagnostics.
Experience leading or supporting CI, operational excellence, or engineering projects.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Familiarity with complaint handling, lab operations, or quality systems is a plus.
Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Python) and process mapping.
Experience with AI/ML tools or software development is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a dynamic environment.

Lab presence may be required for tool testing, process observation, or team engagement.

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $86,250.00 - $129,375.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
