The New York Post is seeking a reporter for its Sunday team. They will be part of a strong group that creates the smorgasbord we call the Sunday New York Post.
We like fun and fearless generalists who can advance continuing world, national and local stories and generate new ones; investigators who live to unmask the corrupt; and tough reporters to cover every aspect of a tough city (don't be shy about your specialties).
The reporter will work full-time, five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, in the midtown Manhattan office (and in the field as needed). They will produce exclusive, enterprise content for the Sunday print edition, as well as fast, breaking news reports for the Saturday website.
Responsibilities:
● Quickly writing clear, concise copy on world, national and local news
● Delivering long and short form journalism in the boldest tabloid voice
● Spotting a potentially viral story and quickly turn it into a great read
● Adhering to the Post’s signature style
Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of relevant experience covering news on the local, national or international level
● Experience working in a fast-paced news environment
● Strong newsgathering skills and experience with social media platforms in order to quickly confirm information during live news events
● Digital production experience
● Bachelor’s degree or higher

Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000
