How you’ll make an impact

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business goals

  • Lead negotiations and manage supplier agreements with top-tier contractors

  • Evaluate supplier performance and drive continuous improvement

  • Manage contract amendments and ensure alignment with local needs

  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks across projects

  • Support regional and global sourcing initiatives with key stakeholders

  • Initiate and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and compliance

  • Contribute to budget planning and performance target achievement

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

Your background

  • 5+ years of experience in E&C procurement and contract negotiation (2–10 MUSD range)

  • Strong understanding of turnkey contractual frameworks and risk management

  • Familiarity with category management tools (SWOT, Kraljic Matrix, etc.)

  • Technical knowledge of E&C in the power sector

  • Proficiency in procurement and quality methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)

  • Skilled in MS tools including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Power BI

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
