About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organized Studio Coordinator/Associate Producer to lead our studio in Los Angeles. You will assist with and eventually help lead the production of video and photo shoots for our various campaigns. This role is great for someone who brings strong experience in production assistant, creative collaboration, logistical planning, and production execution.
Reporting to the Manager, Multimedia Production, this is a hybrid position based in our LA studio, requiring regular in-studio presence (4 days per week Monday - Thursday) with flexibility to work from home on Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Studio Management: Oversee in-studio shoots, ensuring all equipment, props, and materials are prepared and optimized for efficient production days.
- Production Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of video, photo and social media shoots, ensuring deliverables align with creative briefs, timelines, and budgets.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with the creative team, photographers, videographers, stylists, social media and marketing teams to bring concepts to life while maintaining brand consistency.
- Location Coordination: Scout, secure, and coordinate on-location shoots, managing permits, travel logistics, and on-site needs.
- Talent Coordination: Cast and manage talent, including models, stylists, and freelance crew, fostering positive relationships to maintain a robust talent pool.
- Problem Solving: Act as a point of contact during shoots, resolving challenges quickly and maintaining smooth operations.
- Post-Production Liaison: Coordinate with post-production teams to ensure seamless handoffs of assets and maintain quality control throughout the editing process.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years proven experience in video and photo production, preferably in a corporate or retail brand setting
- Incredible organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, including budgeting, scheduling, equipment needs, and location logistics
- Outstanding attention to detail and special care given to sensitive proprietary information and products
- Experience working in both studio and on-location environments
- A strong creative eye and understanding of branding and visual storytelling
- Familiarity with LA's creative and production ecosystem, including talent and location resource
- Proficiency with project management tools and production software
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, with regular in-studio presence required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the eyewear or fashion industries
- Experience of, and knowledge about, current marketing and social trends in retail
- Existing relationships with photographers, videographers, and production crews in LA
- Knowledge of permitting and regulatory requirements for on-location shoots
- Working knowledge of 3D asset workflows (such as animation or video games)

Compensation
In addition to other forms of compensation like perks and benefits, the estimated range for this role is $68,000 - $79,000. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs. The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for various reasons including business needs.
