The department “Pharmaceutical Development" is responsible for the technical development and preparation of sterile dosage forms of biotechnologically and chemically engineered molecules, including AAV-based Gene Therapies, focusing on pre-filled syringes, cartridges and vials for preclinical and clinical studies, and the market supplies.
 
Actively participating for at least 6 months in a pharmaceutical development group focusing on formulation and process development
Implementing and executing cell-based assays to assess the potency of viral vectors
Supporting formulation development for viral vectors by preparing experimental protocols, conducting wet-lab experiments, and applying relevant analytical methods
Exploring innovative parenteral formulation approaches to stabilize proteins, oligonucleotides, peptides, viral vectors, and small molecule drugs
Contributing to drug product process development, including experimental optimization, data analysis, and in-silico prediction of manufacturing parameters
Developing and applying non-GMP analytical methods for formulation characterization (e.g., aggregation, interfacial science, particle analysis)
Participating in departmental initiatives related to innovative formulations, processes, and technologies
Working independently on small laboratory projects or assist with complex, ongoing studies
Preparing technical documentation, present results in internal meetings, and gain insight into the diverse and dynamic field of pharmaceutical development
 
 
 
You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past 12 months) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biotechnology, chemical or mechanical engineering, biology, or a related field
You are interested in problem solving and optimization strategies, and you learn quickly in a modern, dynamic work environment
You have previous laboratory experience, ideally with practical knowledge of cell culture techniques and/or molecular biology
You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team
You are flexible, well organized, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
You are proficient in English (German is a plus) and confident using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and data analysis software
