As an experienced Student Care Manager, you will support students’ academic and personal success through case management, mentoring, and early-intervention work. This role will coordinate wellbeing and engagement initiatives that build belonging, resilience, and leadership within the School of Humanities, while working closely with faculty, student leaders, and university offices to ensure every student feels supported and empowered.
We are looking for a candidate who:
Is compassionate, proactive, and enjoys engaging with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrates strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, and can connect effectively with Gen Z students.
Is highly organised, skilled in managing a portfolio of monitored cases, and confident in project and task management.
Possesses excellent report-writing skills and can document case developments and outcomes clearly and professionally.
Is comfortable using creative tools such as Canva (for presentations, posters, HTML emails, or simple websites) and CapCut (for short videos and student-focused content).
Is familiar with, or willing to learn, collaborative workspace and productivity tools such as Notion or Microsoft Loop.
Holds a recognised degree in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Education, or a related field, with relevant experience in student care, youth development, or higher-education support.
