ADLK Quality organization’s goal is to achieve customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement through systematic approach to quality management, defect reduction and prevention. The ADLK Frontend Quality team is a dynamic and growing team, focused on delivering world-class quality to our customers.

We are seeking an experienced Staff Quality Engineer to play a critical role in supporting our quality operations, driving continuous improvement, engagement across departments, driving /leading cross functional problem solving and continuous improvement activities and ensuring compliance with customer and industry standards.

Description of Job/ Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and\or collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure expedite closure of complex product and process quality issues from initiation to closure.
  • Lead & facilitate the use of structured problem-solving tools in root cause investigation and corrective action identification.
  • Work with Product Quality Team to analyse customer returns and support continuous improvement activities.
  • Support Evaluation of Non-Conforming Material and Disposition of the Material.
  • Interpretation of SEM/TEM images and EDX data to aide root-cause investigations.
  • Training and mentoring other Quality or Process Engineers on core tools e.g., SPC Tools, FMEA, MSA.
  • Collaborate with Product, Process, Design, Failure Analysis and Reliability engineering organizations to drive quality.
  • Actively participate in audits from customers and certification authorities; review customer specific requirements and respond to part specific information as required by the customers.
  • Perform audits of key suppliers if required.
  • Work with counterparts in sister fabs to share results, best practices and provide comparable data.
  • Improvements & implementation of Quality Management System (QMS).

Key skills required for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes with experience in process and device related defect characterization and failure mechanisms.  [Experience in functional areas such as Process, Product or Yield engineering, Integration or Defect areas is an added advantage.]
  • Excellent knowledge of problem-solving tools like 8D, DMAIC, 5-why, Fish bone analysis, etc.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with industry quality standards like IATF16949/ISO9001
  • Strong attention to detail and root-cause analysis that will help support our organization's zero-defect initiative
  • Great collaborator that leads through influence
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, documentation, training, coordinating and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work in a Clean Room environment as required
