Octave

Staff Product Manager, WiseMatch

Virtual (Remote) Full Time

About the Company:

Octave is a modern behavioral health practice creating a new standard for care delivery that’s both high-quality and accessible. With in-person and virtual clinics in multiple states, the company offers evidence-based individual, couples, and family therapy, while pioneering relationships with payers to make care more affordable through insurance. By raising the bar on how care is delivered and how providers are supported, we are building a sustainable system that values equity, affordability, and effectiveness.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Staff Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of a newly formed vertical focused on expanding access to high-quality mental health care. You can learn more about WiseMatch here. This role will be instrumental in shaping foundational experiences for both clients and partners, ensuring that care delivery begins with thoughtful, scalable, and seamless systems that connect clients with high quality therapists.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, design, and external partners to define and deliver solutions that make it easier for individuals to begin care and for our enterprise systems to support them at scale. This is a high-impact, partner-facing, individual contributor role  ideal for someone who brings a deep operational or consulting  mindset, strong enterprise systems experience, and a desire to build products that extend far beyond the aspects of the products that are client facing.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own the strategy and execution of the integrations that power WiseMatch. These integrations are the engine behind provider rosters, availability, and scheduling flows for both clients and providers. We mean both strategy AND execution. In a given day, you’ll influence our partner strategy, debate technical decisions, and project manage multiple parallel threads.
  • Lead strategic, enterprise-level partner engagements in collaboration with internal teams to define and align on the platform roadmap.
  • Set and lead accountable delivery of product goals, success metrics, and roadmaps, balancing short-term execution with long-term strategic vision.
  • Lead discovery, prioritization, and delivery of product initiatives in partnership with engineering, design, clinical operations, and go-to-market teams.
  • Translate operational needs into scalable, intuitive product experiences, drawing on a strong understanding of workflows, systems, and real-world constraints.
  • Interface directly with internal and external partners to understand enterprise-level requirements and ensure our platform supports high-quality, compliant care delivery.
  • Strike the right balance between supporting partners and influencing their roadmap to support the vision of this new vertical.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the user and operational journey through a systems-thinking approach.
  • Contribute to building a strong product culture that values outcomes over outputs and fosters tight collaboration across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in product management in healthcare technology.
  • Experience working with external partners or enterprise clients; able to balance business and user needs effectively.
  • Experience building or integrating enterprise systems, such as EHRs, client onboarding, or scheduling platforms.
  • Consulting or operational background highly valued – this role requires understanding the product from both technical and process-driven lenses.
  • Exceptional program and stakeholder management skills - comfortable coordinating across engineering, operations, compliance, and external partners.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders, translate complex problems, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations.
  • Familiarity with onboarding, scheduling, or intake systems and the nuances of operational implementation.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, startup environments with limited resources and a need to build from zero to one.
  • Proficiency with rapid hypothesis-driven experimentation and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.
