Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Level 5 Staff Financial Analyst to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance. This position will be located on site in Redondo Beach, CA and requires the ability to work on site weekly in Redondo Beach with a hybrid teleworking schedule.
Essential Functions:
Management of division financials, including: financial and cost forecasting, reporting and analysis, profitability analysis, and working capital analysis (accounts receivable forecasting, treasury forecasting, unbilled analysis, and aged receivables analysis)
Lead Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and documentation
Development of the consolidated Division Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan
Work with the finance and business management teams to develop strategies to improve financial performance based on metrics
Development of presentations for, and occasionally brief to, Division/Sector leadership
Interface with business, program, and sector personnel
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 12 years of Business, Finance, Accounting, financial analysis, and/or Aerospace and Defense industry related business experience OR a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience in the same fields
Experience with the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data, and strong critical thinking skills
Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or similar
Excel experience with Macros, VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
Experience with NGFP (Cognos IBM Planning Analytics)
Understanding of US Government procurement and contracting, Cost Accounting Standards, and FAR
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
CPA License
Public Accounting experience (each year of "Big 4" or relevant Public Accounting experience counts for 2 years of experience above)
Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS
Active DoD Secret Clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $141,400.00 - $212,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
