Boeing Technology Innovation (BTI) is currently seeking an experienced Staff Analyst to join the Multiphysics Analysis and Test (MAT) Team in Seattle, WA.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including :

Associate and Mid-Level Staff Analyst.

The Multiphysics Analysis & Test (MAT) Team within Boeing Technology Innovation (BTI) is seeking a Staff Analyst to join our team.  This team is part of the Aurora Integrated Systems (AIS) organization within BTI. This group has a dual mission to 1) execute research and development in multiple physics-based technology areas, and 2) provide fundamental capability and expertise in the areas of radiation effects testing, high-energy systems development and testing and shock physics testing.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the development, planning and implementation of the organizational goals, strategies and initiatives set in place by the MAT Leadership team.

  • Lead the facilitation and coordination for team’s various multi-functional/level meetings with development and preparation, summarizing data and or technical materials and maintaining look ahead activities, schedule etc.

  • Serve as the Laboratory and Building safety monitor for the Applied Physics laboratories and buildings 15-10 and 15-08.

  • Maintains and tracks lab-specific training requirements. Compile and track all safety metrics for labs. Compile and track all lab operations actions and metrics for labs. Maintain compliance with the Boeing Safety Management System
  • Responsible for ordering, tracking and receiving materials and parts for the Applied Physics Laboratories and related programs.

  • Responsible for 15-10 building desk/lobby (visitor registration, escorting, security and truck gate access).

  • Analyzes and summarizes various data points used in the development and proposal of organizational direction (e.g. laboratory overhead budget usage, offload tracking, safety metrics, etc.)

  • Creates, edits and maintains electronic and written communication. Prepares reports, presentations and flow charts.

  • Support leadership by processing incoming and outgoing communication and correspondence to ensure proper dissemination of information.

  • Tracks and maintains designated conference room schedules for availability and efficient use of resources.

  • Orders and maintains office supplies.

  • Plans and implements logistics for internal and external events and meetings. Works under general supervision.

  • Skill and ability to work with sensitive information, safeguarding confidential information and working with it dispassionately.

  • Assist leadership and team members with travel and expense questions.

  • Ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC's, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions.

  • Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware (e.g., personal computers, software, printers, storage media) and standard software (e.g., word processing, graphics packages, spreadsheets/databases).

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or business operations environment

  • 1+ years of experience with BTI procurement systems (Eparts, Pcard, Ariba) for all colors of money (offload, CRAD, OH, Capital)

  • 1+ years of experience using the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance

  • 1+ years of experience with managing and organizing multiple deliverables and deadlines with minimal direction

  • 1+ years of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in advising and influencing managers or non-managers to meet schedules or resolve technical or operational problems

  • 3+ years’ experience working as a Project Management Specialist utilizing standard project management tools demonstrating requirements development, planning, and execution.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range for Entry Level: $68,000 - $92,000

Summary Pay Range for Associate: $ 83,300 - $112,700
