Sr Manager Investor Relations

What you will do:

Reporting directly to the VP Investor Relations, this Investor Relations role will support the development of a robust investor relations strategy and framework for Clarios. This role will aid in managing a strong reputation by demonstrating consistent and clear communication between internal and external stakeholders. Alongside the VP, this role will interface directly with investors, analysts, and a broad range of internal constituents including the CEO, CFO, FP&A, Communications, Legal, and others.

How you will do it:

  • Execute on key investor relations initiatives for the Company.

  • In partnership with the VP, lead and manage the quarterly earnings process by performing analysis of results, developing key investment messages, and drafting our communications, conference call scripts, and other preparation materials, presentations and Q&A. Partner with teams across the company to ensure smooth execution.

  • With support from the VP, represent the Company as a spokesperson to the investment community with a focus on educating key stakeholders about the Company’s market opportunity, strategy, financial performance, and investment merits.

  • Hold active role in investor conference materials creation, IR road show, Technology Power Hours and other event planning as well as rating agency meetings and communications.

  • In partnership with the VP, prepare executives for conferences, road shows, rating agencies, investor and industry events.

  • Work with corporate communications and brand marketing teams to ensure consistent company messaging.

  • Compile data for Board meetings and updates.

  • Summarize relevant information and develop customized meeting materials for senior management to facilitate personalized, thoughtful discussions with key strategic stakeholders.

  • Update and manage an investor relations webpage for the Company.

  • Implement IR tools and processes leveraging new AI capabilities to manage existing investors and target potential investors in Clarios and perform market and peer analysis.

  • Develop, communicate and maintain IR governance policies and processes including insider trading policy, quiet periods, etc.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in ESG for Investor Relations. Partner with internal sustainability experts to complete investor sustainability requests, communicate sustainability strategy and maintain applicable ESG ratings valued by the customer and investor community. Maintain awareness of global ESG trends, sharing updates and implications with internal ESG stakeholders.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field. MBA preferred and a plus.

  • Minimum 8 years of progressive and rich experience in investor relations, finance or accounting positions. Investor relations experience preferred.

  • Strong financial and investment analysis capabilities, including experience with financial modeling and valuation techniques.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a clear ability to effectively coordinate with a wide variety of professionals at all levels and departments within and outside of the organization.

  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter with the ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Analytic and strategic thinker with the ability to assess complex situations, make recommendations and manage projects and processes through completion.

  • Strong and broad based-knowledge and skills appropriate for consultation to all levels of management.
